... The trip began with meetings with other women in the districts of Strasbourg and in some nearby towns, in the work places (the factory, the office) and in the place of the private life (the home). But what subject do you choose to be able to "speak", freely, from woman to woman? An everyday, neutral, concrete, personal and impersonal instrument, loved and hated, linked to the history of our civilization, rooted in our customs and way of life: the bed? the table? ... I choose: «the table».
