Consider the central character of the Morgado as representative of what the province (still) has the best: frontality, good practical sense, the ability to "still" laugh when you feel like and say "no" when it is the case. This Morgado is not the provincial "agalegado" brute and terrifying, upstart and runaway, but someone who is not accustomed to the "bacoco and baroque mannerism" of living in the capital ...
